PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the startability of an engine by alleviating an influence exerted on the engine by a hydraulic motor for rotating an engine cooling fan at the starting of the engine. SOLUTION: This cooling device of construction machinery is provided with a control part 20 which reduces a load, imposed on the engine 21 in the starting of the engine 21, by fixing a speed of revolution of the hydraulic motor 24, operated by a driving force of the engine 21, to a speed not exceeding a set speed including the stop of the revolution of the hydraulic motor 24, at least until the starting of the engine 21.
