PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain structural cost of a device constituting a printer engine part and to prevent wasteful paper ejection by performing pre-printing preparation in accordance with a printing processing mode. SOLUTION: When a page operation task is started at the time of turning on a power source, a page queue is monitored in a specified cycle, and when the existence of the page queue is detected, the control information of a page table to be printed is actually set in a printer engine part 105. In the case a 'printing processing mode' is 'banding', a printer control part 103 regards/ PREF signal as TRUE and designates the pre-printing preparation to the engine part 105. Then, printing operation is performed in accordance with a printing mode. In the case of 'full paint', the pre-printing preparation is not designated. Thus, the structural cost of the device constituting the engine part 105 is restrained, and a situation that the pre-printing preparation exceeds pre-printing limit time and the blank paper is wastefully outputted is prevented. |
