摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device for a choke valve of a carburetor provided with a compact transmission device capable of applying sufficiently large torque to the choke valve from an electric motor at a full open position of the choke valve without increasing number of steps of reduction gears or setting gear ratio to excessively high. SOLUTION: This electronic control device for the choke valve of the carburetor consists of a transmission device 24 connected to the choke valve 7 of the carburetor C, the electric motor 20 driving the choke valve 7 open and close via the transmission device 24, and an electronic control unit 12a controlling operation of the electric motor 20. The transmission device 24 is provided with a first lever 30 connecting to an output shaft 20a of the electric motor 20 and a second lever 32 connecting to a valve shaft 7a of the choke valve 7. A connection structure between the first and the second lever 30, 32 is constructed to increase lever ratio between the first lever 30 and the second lever 32 as it goes from middle opening of the choke valve 7 toward full open position.
