<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge in which a photoreceptor unit having a photoreceptor and a photoreceptor case in which the photoreceptor is housed, and a developing unit having a developing case in which developer is stored and a developing roller on which the developer is carried and conveyed are detachably assembled, so that an electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptor is developed to be a visible image with the developer carried and conveyed on the developing roller, and where a gap between the photoreceptor and a developing roller is exactly regulated without using a gap regulating member press-contacting with the photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: First and second positioning members 42 and 42A for positioning the developing roller 9 and the photoreceptor 4 are respectively arranged at both side parts of the photoreceptor case 5 and the developing case 8 so as to regulate the gap G between the developing roller 9 and the photoreceptor 4 to a predetermined size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
