PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attention drawing safety tape which is less expensive than heretofore and has a water resisting property. SOLUTION: The attention drawing safety tape comprises a cylindrical body 6 in which a core material 5 for winding up a tape 4 for drawing attention of a passerby is arranged. The cylindrical body 6 has a slit 11 through which the tape 4 is inserted. An operating part 8 capable of performing turning operation of the core material 5 is extended to the outside of the cylindrical body 6, and the tape 4 can be rolled in the cylindrical body 6 by operating the operating part 8. A draining means comprising an elastic member 12 is arranged on the slit 11, and water adhering to the tape 4 can be removed when the tape 4 is rolled in.
