PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high heat exchange efficiency with a simple structure simultaneously, to suppress function stop of a heat exchanger caused by deposition of a mineral component such as calcium (Ca) in service water only on the high temperature side, and to suppress to the utmost decline of a heat conductivity caused by flow speed reduction of water. SOLUTION: In this heat exchanger, water flows inside an inner tube 2, and carbon dioxide flows in the opposite direction in a toroidal part 6 between the inner tube 2 and an outer tube 4, and a safe double wall 3 is provided, and a sufficient contact area is secured, to thereby acquire the high heat exchange efficiency. Since the passage sectional area on the outflow side 2b of the inner tube 2 wherein the water flows is enlarged in comparison with the passage sectional area on the inflow side 2a, even if calcium included in water is deposited and adheres to the tube wall 2b1 of the inner tube 2 on the outflow side 2b, water flow is not blocked and stop of the heat exchange can be suppressed. Since the passage sectional area on the inflow side 2a is not enlarged, the flow speed of the water is not reduced, and the heat conductivity with the inner tube 2 is not reduced, and lowering of the heat conductivity of the whole heat exchanger body 1 can be suppressed to the utmost.
