PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp control device in which energy saving can be achieved.
SOLUTION: Respective neon transformers 8 of the discharge lamp control device 1 are connected to a CPU 5 via a photocoupler (optical sensor). The photocoupler is composed of light emitting elements 31a to 33a connected to the CPU 5, and light receiving elements 31b to 33b connected to the neon transformers 8. In the CPU 5, on/off control of the photocoupler is carried out by a control signal Sx, and the discharge lamp is controlled by lighting (light control)/flashing on and off. That is, during outputting of the control signal Sx of H level, the photocuopler becomes to have on state, and have a state that circuits of the neon transformers 8 are short-circuited. On the other hand, during outputting of the control signal Sx of L level, the photocoupler becomes to have off state, and have a state that resonance circuits 30 of the neon transformers 8 are resonated, and that the output voltage Vb of high frequency is induced onto the secondary side of a transformer 14.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
