PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding die capable of easily performing alignment and capable of simultaneously molding a large number of articles by setting an upper die and a lower die at a block having a plurality of V grooves. SOLUTION: The molding die is composed of a cylindrical upper die 1 provided with a curved surface for press molding a lens element, a cylindrical lower die 2 provided also with the curved surface for press molding the lens element and having the same outer diameter with the upper die 1, a V groove block 3 provided with the V groove arranging a sleeve 4 for controlling an outer diameter of the glass element when molding is performed and pins 7a and 7b for abutting the upper die 1 and the lower die 2 at the V groove of the V groove block 3 by arranging a spring 5 made of a heat resistant material through a bearing 15 fixed at an outer peripheral part of a collar 6 with a bolt 16.
