PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure of an externally arranging member for installing the externally arranging member such as a decorative material and a snow stopping member on a horizontally laying roof. SOLUTION: This installation structure of the externally arranging member 2 is formed by installing the externally arranging member 2 on a horizontally laying external facing structure; and is characterized in that a horizontally laying external facing material 1 for constituting the horizontally laying external facing structure, has molding parts 12 and 13 on the downstream side and the upstream side, and is provided with a locking object space 121 opening on the lower side in the downstream side molding part 12, and the externally arranging member 2 is composed of a body part 21 and a locking part 22 positioned in the locking object space 121 in arrangement, and the externally arranging member 2 is elastically supported by the molding parts 12 and 13 in a state of installing the downstream side molding part 12 and the upstream side molding part 13 of the horizontally laying external facing material 1.
