PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating material resistant to the deterioration caused by partial discharge and having low density.

SOLUTION: The partial discharge resistant insulating resin composition for high-voltage equipment contains (A) an epoxy resin having≥2 epoxy groups in one molecule, (B) a curing agent for the epoxy resin, and (C) at least one kind of inorganic nano-particles 2 selected from layer clay minerals, oxide nano-particles, nitride nano-particles and carbon black as essential components.
