<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a baseball game, which allows players to intervene a close play and is more proximate to the actual baseball. SOLUTION: The occurrence of the close play between a fielder defending a base and a runner running toward the base is judged when a ball exists within 5 m of the base B and the runner R is located at 3 m to 4 m from the base B. Optimum points for sliding, rounding, and tackling are displayed on a close play dedicated screen to allow the payer on the attack side to input one of them and to allow the player on the defense side to input one of front touch, back touch, and block, thereby the determination of out or safe is changed by the input timing of them. The motions of the runner R and the fielder are displayed in a slow-motion progress on the close play dedicated screen.</p> |
