<p>The automatic electronic loudness controller provides the possibility that the input signal, which is connected to the input terminal (1) is adapted and sent to the output terminal (5) in such a way that the person, who listens to the output signal via the loudspeaker gets the impression that the loudness of the input signal does not change. The controller operates on the principle of measuring the effective value of the audio signal, since people get the impression of loudness in particular based on the effective value of sound pressure, produced by the loudspeaker. The device therefore takes care that on its output (5) the effective value of the signal remains constant, regardless of the effective voltage signal value on its input (1). As far as the technical field is concerned this invention refers to electrotechnics. The automatic electronic loudness controller is used in such a way that the signal, whose loudness we want to control, is connected to the device input (1). The controller output (5) is attached via the amplifier to the loudspeaker. Via the pushbuttons (11) the maximum loudness at the output (5) can be adjusted.</p> |
