The device has a resonator chamber (5) provided at a periphery and relative to the rotation axis of a turbine wheel (3) in an exhaust-gas turbocharger. The chamber is connected to the interior of turbocharger by a perforated metal plate. The chamber includes a silencer unit e.g. Helmholtz resonator, which is placed pointing proximity to a source of gas pulsations at guide vanes and wheel vanes, for absorbing and reflecting the noises.
