<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toll payment method and a toll payment program allowing a toll of a toll road to be paid to a toll road electronic toll collection system (ETC) by using a settlement service of a bank. <P>SOLUTION: When starting use of a toll road, an in-vehicle computer device 11 obtains data of a usable remaining value from an ETC management system 20. When a distance to an interchange is set below a predetermined value, the in-vehicle computer device 11 calculates the toll to the interchange and compares the usable remaining value with the toll. When the usable remaining value is smaller than the toll, the in-vehicle computer device 11 outputs an alarm and transmits a prepayment request to the ETC management system 20. The in-vehicle computer device 11 carries out charge of the usable remaining value by using a bank server 30 and the ETC management system 20 by a transaction-coupled transfer settlement service. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
