PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system for a transport container capable of surely realizing the refrigerating/freezing function and the ventilation function, even when requiring installation of a generator. SOLUTION: This cooling system has an exhaust duct 10 and an intake duct 11 for ventilation along one side 6a among both sides 6a and 6b of an inside space 6. In the exhaust duct 10, the upper end 10a opens on the downstream side of an evaporator 8, and the lower end 10b opens outward from one side of a recessed part 9.
