PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object search support system and an object search support program which assist to search a lost article by specifying a person having the possibility of a loss person when a person approaching a housing, in which a monitor object of interest is contained, is recorded and the monitor object of interest is lost. SOLUTION: When a monitoring device 2 detects opening and closing of a cabinet 7 by an opening and closing sensor 4, it reads the ID information of the ID tag 6 of the label of the person who is near the cabinet 7 using an ID tagged scanning unit 3, and transmits it to a managing device 1 together with time, etc. The managing device 1 records it. Moreover, the managing device 1 can register the lost article, the loss person after the lost article is discovered. If the lost article and a period are input by the managing device 1 when the object is lost, the person who is present in near is specified by the ID information at the opening and closing time of the cabinet 7 during the period.
