PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door for surely fixing a handle to a door body. SOLUTION: This sliding door has the handle 56 being a gripping means in opening and closing, and is slidably supported by a first opening part opened in a heat insulating box body, and openably-closably closes this opening part. The handle 56 is composed of a gripping part 58 becoming a gripping part by projecting from the door body 52, a projection part 60 fittable to a recessed groove 54 recessed on an outside surface of the door body 52, and a storage groove 64 recessed in a flange part 62 for surrounding the projection part 60 of the gripping part 58 and allowing the inflow of a surplus part of an adhesive imparted to the recessed groove 54. The handle 56 is fixed to the door body 52, by adhering the recessed groove 54 and the projection part 60 by the adhesive, by allowing the flange part 62 to abut on the outside surface of the door body 52, by fitting the projection part 60 to the recessed groove 54.
