PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a papermaking transfer felt for a shoe press, enabling stains to be easily removed, excellent in a smoothing function of a surface of wet paper, and having a good paper-separating function, when the wet paper is delivered, and to provide a press apparatus of a shoe press-type papermaking machine, equipped with the papermaking transfer felt. SOLUTION: This papermaking transfer felt 100 for the shoe press is equipped with a base layer 11, a first batt layer 13A formed on a surface of the base layer 11 on a side of wet paper W, a second batt layer 13B formed on a surface of the base layer 11 on a side of a roll or on a side of a shoe, a wet paper-contacting fiber layer 15 containing a hydrophilic fiber and formed on a surface of the first batt layer 13A on a side of the wet paper W, so as to directly contact with the wet paper W.
