FIELD: agricultural engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: seed onion harvesting machine has digging share, separating sieve shoe, rod-type and discharge conveyors, agitator mounted on top the discharge end of sieve shoe and made in the form of elastic endless belt put onto two tension rolls so as to be adjusted with regard to height and rotational speed. Elastic protrusions are provided on belt working surface in spaced apart relation at pitch equal to 2-3 diameters of root under harvesting procedure, said protrusions having height making half the diameter of root and positioned in staggered arrangement. Rod-type conveyor is equipped at the top with cover having width equal to that of conveyor. At least two rows of nozzles are mounted to lower side of cover, perpendicular to conveyor surface. Lower side of rod-type conveyor is also equipped with nozzles positioned perpendicular to its surface but in offset relation with respect to upper nozzles. All of the nozzles are connected to compressed air source. At outlet end of rod-type conveyor, on its lower side, at portion making 2/3 of its length, air duct is mounted at an acute angle in relation to longitudinal axis of conveyor and centrifugal fan. At opposite side of said conveyor, air duct continuation part is positioned, said part being tightly connected with cover above rod-type conveyor and terminating with waste collector formed as cone with cylindrical perforated cover and open bottom with annular belt, onto which detachable elastic waste collector is mounted. Baffling shield is positioned at sieve shoe and rod-type conveyor junction site, at an obtuse angle to cover, above said conveyor. ^ EFFECT: reduced damage to roots. ^ 2 dwg |
