<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lamp, of which light distribution characteristic projected in front of a vehicle enables replacement for filaments or the like of a conventionally used incandescent lamp and a tungsten halogen lamp. <P>SOLUTION: This LED lamp 1 for a lighting fixture light source is used for a headlight for providing light distribution characteristics, by being combined with a reflector 11 defining a paraboloid of revolution system reflecting surface. The shape of the luminescence surface is set as a substantially planar shape, of which the ratio of the short side to long side is in a range of 1:2-1:6. Thus, the light distribution pattern, similar to that of the filament conventionally used as a light-emitting source, can be formed, substantially all of lights radiated from the LED lamp can be used as an illumination light, and its possibility is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
