PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which can output an image of high picture quality with excellent gradation reproducibility and reproducibility of characters in low contrast, and to provide a process cartridge and an electrophotographic apparatus using the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a charge generating region formed by jetting a coating liquid containing at least a charge generating substance by an ink jet method and a charge transporting layer containing at least a charge transporting substance on a conductive supporting body, wherein the charge generating region is formed as dispersed in lines.
