PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the matter of a conventional electromagnetic wave absorber that production is serious because different linear antenna elements must be formed on an insulating sheet, i.e. a different antenna pattern must be formed or an insulating sheet on which different linear antenna elements are formed must be employed. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave absorber comprises a spacer (first and second plaster board portions 4 and 7), a resistive layer 8 provided on the spacer oppositely to the surface thereof, and two or more metal layers (first and second metal layers 5 and 6) provided on the spacer on the side opposite to one side of the resistive layer wherein each metal layer reflects one of objective electromagnetic waves of different frequencies passed through the resistive layer and the spacer to the direction of the resistive layer.
