PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a speaker driving device and speaker driving method by which the generation of a noise on a sound based on an audio signal is efficiently prevented. SOLUTION: In the speaker driving device and its driving method for amplifying the input audio signal and then driving a speaker by supplying the signal voltage of the obtained audio signal to the speaker, a distortion generated on the signal voltage of the audio signal due to a back electromotive force generated from a load in the speaker is detected and then the voltage of the detected distortion portion is removed from the signal voltage of the audio signal, so that the distortion portion voltage-removed audio signal is amplified to be supplied to the speaker.
