PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door control device for an elevator performing more stable door opening/closing control by suppressing speed variation near the full closure of a door of the elevator. SOLUTION: The door control device for the elevator is provided with a door drive means 31 for opening/closing a door panel of the elevator; a full closure position index member provided at a position where the door panel is fully closed; a distance detection means 1 mounted to the door panel and detecting a distance with the full closure position index member; a data operation means 22 for determining a movement amount value or a speed value per a predetermined time of the door panel when the door panel arrives at a predetermined position prior to the full closure based on variation of the distance detected by the distance detection means; a comparison means 25 for comparing the movement amount value or the speed value per a predetermined time operated by the data operation means with these standard values; and speed change means 26, 27 for changing the speed of the door panel near the full closure of the door panel even if a comparison result of the comparison means is not within a predetermined range.
