<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin type information recording medium which has little variance in communication characteristics and has a beautiful appearance and superior durability. <P>SOLUTION: The coin type information recording medium comprises a metallic ring 1 having required outer diameter and thickness, two resin moldings 2 and 3 buried in a center opening 1a of the metallic ring 1, and an IC chip 4 integrated with an antenna, which is interposed between resin moldings 2 and 3. A thin projecting piece 5 standing from an inner peripheral surface of the metallic ring 1 projects into the center opening 1a of the metallic ring 1, as a positioning means for the resin moldings 2 and 3. The resin moldings 2 and 3 are so constituted that they are thickly stored in the center opening of the metallic ring 1 when having prescribed faces opposed to each other and being concentrically combined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
