PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane rotary pneumatic pump capable of being implemented for the low noise by solving the blow sound of a delivery valve. SOLUTION: A suction mouth 141a, a suction port 141b, a discharge mouth 141c and a discharge port 141d are installed in a front plate 141 (or a rear plate 151). The shapes of the suction port 141b and the discharge port 141d are set so that the ratio of a volume at the instant communication to the suction port 141b is ended to the volume of a pump space 161 at the instant the pump space 161 faces to the discharge port 141d becomes not less than 0.9 to 1.1. When the pump space 161 faces to the discharge port 141d, the pump space 161 is communicated to the discharge mouth 141c, so that the compressed air can be efficiently fed just enough for the pressure with the need for fuel cell but without the need the delivery valve, and the pneumatic pump can be provided to implement the low noise.
