PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus capable of displaying a video image with an entire circumference of 360 degrees and displaying even a video image within a prescribed range in the 360-degree video image at the same time as if a camera were in a panning motion. SOLUTION: The photographing apparatus 10 provided with the camera 30 for photographing the entire circumference of 360 degrees at the same time includes: a storage section 84 including a memory for recording the photographed 360-degree video image; a control section 70a that particularizes a zoom area from the entire circumference video image, extracts the video image of the zoom area from the storage section 84, causes a display section 60 to display the extracted video image, and also to display the video image in the zoom area as if the zoom area were moved along the circumferential direction by changing the position of the zoom area of the entire circumferential video image recorded in the storage section 84 and extracting the video image and causes the display section 60 to display the extracted video image; and the display section 60 for displaying at least the video image of the zoom area.
