<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of rapidly removing floating bacteria in a room with a compact depth. <P>SOLUTION: This dehumidifier comprises a blower 25 taking air in a room through an intake port 13 and blowing through outlet ports 29 and 30, an air cleaning filter unit 20 arranged in opposition to the intake port 13 to capture dusts in the air, a humidifying part 21 arranged between the filter unit 20 and the blower 25 to dehumidify the air, and an ion generation part 26 arranged between the blower 25 and the outlet ports 29 and 30 to simultaneously release positive ions and negative ions. The humidifying part 21 includes a tray 23 for collecting water provided in a lower part and a humidifying filter 22 dipped in the tray 23 and having a vertical air passage 22c.
