<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron-beam tube for suppressing the heat generation of a window at the center region of a window member at the center side in the axial direction of a filament, preventing fracture in a window at the center region of the window member, and unifying the output of electron beams radiated from each window. <P>SOLUTION: In the electron-beam tube 1, a strip of filaments 3a for emitting electrons are arranged linearly inside a vacuum vessel 2 , and the window member 24 for forming the windows 24a for transmitting electrons emitted from the filaments 3a along the axis of the filaments. In the electron-beam tube 1, a plurality of through holes H are formed on the filaments 3a, and surface area per unit area of the filaments is smaller toward the center side as compared with both the sides in the axial direction of the filaments. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
