PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aesthetic top plate for a drop-in stove that can produce the same robustness as a thick metal top plate despite light weight. SOLUTION: The top plate for a drop-in stove comprises a top plate body 4 formed out of an extrusion mold of metal having a top part 41 and a plurality of linear projections 42 projecting under the top part 41.
