PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sonic jet burner that simplifies structure by the integration of a distribution mechanism for a stabilizing medium into a base part connected to a combustion cylinder and streamlines repair, disassembly and part replacement by a reduction in the number of parts. SOLUTION: The sonic jet burner has a nozzle hole opening in a tip end of the combustion cylinder of multi-tube structure and the base part B at a base end, forms an initial combustion area 11 having a fuel ignition part 10 in the base part B, and has a fuel supply part, a stabilizing medium supply part 12 for high pressure air or the like, and the like in the base part B. The base part B comprises upper and lower circular base plates 3 and 4, and concentric external and internal cylinders 5 and 6 of different diameters connecting both circular base plates 3 and 4, to thereby form an annular stabilizing medium distribution chamber 7 between both cylinders 5 and 6. The stabilizing medium supply part 12 can be arranged in the upper circular base plate 3 in communication with the stabilizing medium distribution chamber 7 to distributively supply a stabilizing medium through communication holes 8 in the lower circular base plate 4 and small holes 9 in the internal cylinder 6.
