<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a rotating torque at a low load without impairing such an advantage of a thrust bearing as a high load capacity. <P>SOLUTION: This thrust bearing comprises two races (race 9 and race 10) having an outer diameter side warped from an inner diameter side, a plurality of rolling elements (needle-like rollers 11 and balls 12) disposed between both races in at least two radial rows, and a retainer 13 holding the plurality of rolling elements. The both races are brought into contact with the inner diameter side rolling elements 12 when a low load is applied thereto, and when a high load is applied thereto, the outer diameter side warped shape is corrected to the inner diameter side and the rolling elements on the outer diameter side are brought into contact with the both races. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
