PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently correct a display gradation characteristic of a medical image displaying apparatus to display the medical image. SOLUTION: First, the medical image stored in an external device such as an image server or the like is acquired through a communication section (a step S1). Then, the information on a photographing region and the information on a photographing direction attached to the medical image are acquired (a step S2). On the basis of the acquired information on the photographing region and the information on the photographing direction, a profile analysis of the medical image is executed and an ROI position to be diagnosed is determined on the medical image (a step S3). Then, each test pattern is displayed at the ROI position of the medical image to be displayed and the adjustment processing of the display gradation characteristic of the medical image displaying apparatus is executed (a step S4).
