<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material which is highly sensitive and excellent in image retention property after color development. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal recording material has a thermal recording layer formed on a base material by using a polymer comprising a colorless or light-colored electron donative dye precursor, or a microcapsule including a colorless or light-colored electron donative dye precursor and a dispersed material containing at least one kind of an electron acceptive compound. The thermal recording material is characterized in that, among the electron acceptive compound dispersed material, a mixture of all compounds, having ≥100°C boiling point and hardly soluble or insoluble in water, has melt viscosity at 60°C of ≥1×10<SP>4</SP>Pa×s. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
