<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an adhesion amount of toner to a photoreceptor to a small amount, by surely preventing adhesion of a carrier to the photoreceptor, even if it is controlled so as to interlock and rotate a photoreceptor drum and a development roller at process starting and process stopping. <P>SOLUTION: An electrophotographic process control device makes a prescribed potential state capable of forming images by alternately repeating operation lowering surface potential of the photoreceptor so that a photoreceptor side is at low potential in a range of a potential difference, capable of preventing movement of the carrier to the photoreceptor side and operation lowering a bias voltage of the development roller so that the photoreceptor side is at high potential when the process starts. The electrophotographic process control device set it at a zero potential state, by alternately repeating operation increasing the surface potential of the photoreceptor so that the photoreceptor side is at a high potential and operation increasing the bias voltage of the developing roller so that the photoreceptor side is at a low potential in the range of a potential difference, capable of preventing adhesion of the carrier to the photoreceptor side when the process stops. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
