<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material for brazing, which can reduce the thinning of a base material (erosion of a base material) due to brazing, and is excellent in the workability and corrosion resistance, and is low in a manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The composite material 1 for brazing, in which the base material 2 and a brazing metal portion 3 are compounded and integrated, is used for joining the base material 2 to other members by brazing via the brazing metal portion 3. The base material 2 is Fe or Fe alloy. The brazing metal portion 3 is composed of a layer 4 composed of Ni or Ni alloy, a layer 5 composed of Ti or Ti alloy, and a layer 4 composed of Ni or Ni alloy in this order from the base material side. The ratio b/(a+b) of the weight b of Ti to the total weight (a+b) of the weight a of Ni and the weight b of Ti contained in the brazing metal portion 3 is at least 0.38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
