PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a password from being stolen from at hand when inputting the password. SOLUTION: A password input device includes; a password input part 101 including a plurality of input keys 111; a password storage part 104 which stores a true character code generated correspondingly to depressions of input keys 111, as a password; a false character code generation part 102 which generates random numbers per depression of the input keys to generate a false character code corresponding to the random numbers; and a password display part 105 which arranges and displays characters in the order of depression of the input keys 111.
