PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of lines required for data transmission in an optical displacement meter, in which data are transferred serially, from a head part to a controller part.
SOLUTION: The head part is provided with an AD converter, a parallel/serial converter for converting the output data thereof into serial data, and a data transmission part for transmitting the output data in synchronism with clock signals. Two lines, one for clock signals and the other for the serial data, are used for transmitting data from the head part to the controller part. The controller part is provided with a data-receiving part for receiving the clock signals and the serial data, and a serial/parallel converter that reads the received serial data, in accordance with the clock signals and converts the serial data into parallel data. Frame signals indicating divisions among a plurality of bits forming the parallel data are superposed on the clock signals transmitted from the head part to the controller part.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
|
