<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reading efficiency of a wireless tag, and to accurately specify a storage position of a wireless tag inside a carrier case partitioned into a plurality of chambers. <P>SOLUTION: This wireless tag reader comprises a plurality of antennas 5, disposed outside the carrier case 1 storing an envelope 3 installed with a wireless tag 2 into each of the plurality of chambers, corresponding to the respective chambers; a wireless tag interrogator 7 provided with a wireless tag reading means for individually controlling the respective antennas to read an ID of the wireless tag of the envelope stored in each the chamber, and an output means for associating the read ID of the wireless tag with the antenna used for the reading and outputting it; and a controller 11 provided with a counting means counting the number of the wireless tags read in each the antenna, and a transmission power control means performing control, to increase transmission power in accordance with the counted value becomes large in each the antenna, on the basis of a count result of the counting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
