PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornamental Rosaceae plant in whose tissue or organ including flower portions the emission of light is recognized. SOLUTION: This transformed Rosaceae plant has a gene encoding luciferase, and the luciferase expressed from the gene is biologically active. The transformed Rosaceae plant is obtained by a method including a process for transducing the luciferase gene capable of being operated in the plant cell into the cell of a plant belonging to the Rosaceae, and a process for regenerating the plant body from the cell into which the luciferase gene is transduced.
