<p>In the production of a tubular knitted finished article (100) consisting of several connected tubes (1, 2, 3) to be subsequently at least partially knitted together, using a flat-bed knitting machine with at least two beds of needles, after knitting the first tube(s) and optionally forming flat or semi-tubular transition regions (4, 5, 8, 8') on the first tube(s), a tubular connecting region (6) is knitted before knitting the next tube(s).
