A method of cold forming a crease line in a sheet plastics material 14 comprises the steps of positioning the sheet material 14 over a planar platen surface 2, and forming the crease line by bringing a scoring rule 4 with a pointed end in profile into engagement with the plastic sheet material and deforming it between the end of the rule 4 and the platen surface 2. The rule 4 is supported by a die board which also carries at least one cutting blade extending further than the rule. Force correction tape, e.g. dense tearable paper or non-metallised plastics foil, is applied to a back surface of the die board, aligned with the rule 4. |
