PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve combustion by suppressing deposit accumulation on a fuel injection port in a fuel injection device. SOLUTION: In a housing 31, a fuel passage 35, a suck part 32 and the injection port 33 are formed. A needle valve 34 is movably supported inside the housing 31 such that the fuel passage 35 can be connected/disconnected. By coating a NOx reduction catalyst on the suck part 32 and the injection port 33, NOx in combustion gas generates N<SB>2</SB>using HC and CO as reducing agents by the NOx reduction catalyst and decreases.
