PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parts installing method for improving productivity by performing the cooperative operation of both arms of a double arm robot. SOLUTION: In this parts installing method, while one arm (the arm 3) of the double arm robot 1 is holding or installing one part, the other arm (the arm 4) of the double arm robot 1 performs installation preparation of the other part by holding the other part or the like, and while the one arm (the arm 3) is holding or installing the one part, the other arm (the arm 4) of the double arm robot also holds or installs the one part at the same time to install the parts.
