<p>A drawing device enabling effective use of memory bus bandwidth without needing an expensive and complicated circuit structure. The drawing device comprises a triangle detecting section (112) for specifying a triangle to be drawn from drawing data and determining a pixel block having pixels contained in the triangle, a B-edge detecting section (114) for judging whether or not pixels of a triangle to be subjected to a first processing and connected to the triangle to be drawn are contained in the pixel block determined by the triangle detecting section (112), a rasterizing section (116) in which when the judgment result of the B-edge detecting section (114) is yes, the pixel block containing the pixels of the triangle to be subjected to the first processing is rasterized and pixel data is generated, a memory R/W section (117) for writing the pixel data of the pixel block generated by the rasterizing section (116) to a memory (120), and a drawing engine (130) for displaying an image in accordance with the pixel data written into the memory (120).</p> |
