PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect a running speed of an endless belt with a compact configuration. SOLUTION: An endless belt device 6 is provided with an endless belt 5 which is wound around a driving roller and a driven roller 12 and runs, a plurality of markers 20 provided on an outer peripheral surface in the end part side of a roller shaft 12a of the driven roller 12 along a peripheral direction, and a reflective sensor 17 which is arranged in opposition to the outer peripheral surface of the roller shaft 12a and detects the markers 20. Outer diameter dimensions of the endless belt device 6 including the reflective sensor 17 can be reduced by this configuration of the endless belt device 6. Since the number of markers 20 can be freely set, the detection precision is easily improved by increasing the number of times of detection by the reflective sensor 17 per rotation of the driven roller 12.
