<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit correction of the shape according to the actual amount of bend, in an optical recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk 50 is provided with a substrate 51, an electrode layer 52, a piezoelectric layer 53, an electrode layer 54, and a functional layer 55 including a recording layer or a protective layer. In the optical disk 50, when a prescribed voltage is applied between the electrode layer 52 and the electrode layer 54, the optical disk 50 itself is deformed by the bend deformation of the piezoelectric layer 53. Utilizing such a nature in the optical disk 50, the bend of the optical disk 50 due to the environmental temperature or the like is corrected. To be specifically, in the device for recording/reproducing information for the optical disk 50, the bend of the optical disk 50 is successively detected, and the voltage for correcting the detected amount of the bend is applied to the electrode layers 52 and 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
