<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recipe for preventing the reduction of an insulation resistance of a sealing material for a solar battery, obtained by formulating an inorganic pigment. <P>SOLUTION: The ethylene copolymer composition for sealing the solar battery is obtained by compounding≤5 pts.wt. crosslinking agent, 4-50 pts.wt. white inorganic pigment such as titanium oxide and 0.1-5 pts.wt. crosslinking auxiliary of a polyunsaturated compound such as triallyl isocyanurate with 100 pts.wt. ethylene-polar monomer copolymer.
