PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in an optical connector used for optical communication or the like that some of the modes of the incident light beams are dispersed, various signals are mutually interfered with each other and accurate signals can not be received by a light receiver. SOLUTION: In the optical connector which connects the end faces of a pair of optical fibers, the center positions of the cores of the pair of optical fibers are abutted together in a mutually eccentric manner and incident light beams from one of the optical fibers are made incident onto the axial center of the other optical fiber with a tilt to optically connect both of the optical fibers.
