<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform conversion output into a form readable for a man such as "from what day to what day of what month except Monday" in publishing the date on a home page or outputting as printed matter in a form readable for the man in making data of the date every day in event information. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to event data having a data format independent every day, a pattern match processing for detecting a pattern on dates of the event such as "the event continues to be held with a few days off" or the like is combined with expression generating processing for generating natural language expressions such as "from what day of what month to what day of what month except what day of what month" by supplementing data such as an opening date of the event corresponding to a template when the pattern match is successful.
